Recording medication readings from pumps and injections using handheld computers.

This system is designed to allow doctors to record pump readings during their patient rounds.  The doctor selects the patient or adds a new patient.  Working with a few screens, the doctor selects the information to record from drop downs.  The information on the handheld provides the doctor with a history of the patient, doctor visits, and the medications and their doses.

The hospital has control over what information is collected.  These options can be entered either at the handheld or through the desktop application.

An XML web services backend collects the data from the handhelds.  The data is examined to determine whether it exists or is new.  If it exists, then a determination is made as to which information is more current, then the oldest data is archived and the current data is saved for the next upload.  The syncronization process can handle any number of handhelds.
